Free to get in, pay to get out?I've crossed the bridge to Wales again today, starting my day with Caerdydd and the mood descending further as I ventured into the misery themed city of Abertawe.

How long before you have to get out of yours, are you camping in your new garden now you've cleared it?Well, we finally exchanged contracts about 4 o'clock this afternoon. We now just-about own an uninhabitable wreck of a tiny house, and some stranger just-about owns our energy-efficient hand-crafted beautiful big comfortable house. I couldn't be happier!!
You've not been down to check!!How long before you have to get out of yours, are you camping in your new garden now you've cleared it?
I was only an hour or so up the road last week, maybe I should've done. You've not been down to check!!

Difficult to work out why you didn't. I do own a kettle, you know.......I was only an hour or so up the road last week, maybe I should've done.
Is Swaffham far from you?Difficult to work out why you didn't. I do own a kettle, you know.......
Not much to do then!We move out on the 17th, so just over 2 weeks. However, we don't move in until about the 23rd. At the moment there is no bathroom, no heating, and the primitive kitchen is in the outshot which we will be demolishing. so in the intervening week (we're staying with a friend), I have to put in a temporary kitchen, knock a door through into the bathroom, get a temporary boiler sorted out, have the bathroom plumbed, and fit half a dozen radiators. On top of pulling up all the disgusting carpets, repainting, and fitting a temporary wardrobe.
Not much to do then!
You've made a start on the garden though! Then, there's a workshop to build, before I start work on the rear extension......which we will then move into whilst I strip the old place back to its frame and rebuild it. Should keep me busy for a bit. All the drains need replacing, too, and the garden is a start-from-scratch job.
All the more reason to visit, before the building is finished! It's alright you're safe, I only get down that way about once a year now.
True. Five visits got the lawn down from 4 feet deep to , well, lawn deep. You've made a start on the garden though!
