Hi Bobby
So if the schools north of the border have shut for the summer holidays, when do they re-open? I think it's about another 4 weeks till they shut here and then start back in the first week of September. Do the kids in Scotland go back in mid August?

I passed through 'Uddersfield, got off the train at Greenfield station.

Uddersfield is a "dead-end" station. You can't pass through.

Be greatful you didn't have to get off there. New , automated ticket barriers don't accept tickets

There's a bloke at work who retires next January, he can tell you exactly how many working days he's got left.

He's got a calendar at home with all the weekends and holidays already crossed off, he can hardly wait the lucky bast.....

Try to avoid it whenever possible. Besides its only half an hour ride from home on the bike, one & a quarter by train.
