It looks like my 2 favourite mountains, Mt Donna Buang and Lake Mountain (only because they're the 2 I actually ride to from home) have both had a bit recently. Melbourne never gets any, though, because our weather, while unpredictable at times, is nowhere near as harsh as the UK's.Any snow yet?
Anything similar to Stonehenge or Newgrange down there?Well, it's getting dark here, on the shortest day of the southern hemisphere's year. I suppose you lot will have a very late sunset .
Ayer's Rock, perhaps? It is, after all, a very, very big rock! Just not a human-made one. It does, of course, have a lot of cultural significance for our Aborigines, although I have no idea if they observe any special ceremonies on the Winter Solstice at Ayers Rock.Anything similar to Stonehenge or Newgrange down there?
We'll let you know on the sunset side of things.
