My thought's entirely. I've had one potential client be really snotty with me on the phone and, with the boss' say so, refused to take her or her child on. If she is going to be rude to a 50 year old businesswoman, what is she going to be like with a 25 year old teacher if she thinks that she can speak to me like that.
Unfortunately there are people like that, just don't deal with them, if they're like that before they've even met you, once you take them on they'll probably expect all sorts of concessions etc.

Gaelic was an option as a language when I started secondary school, I applied..they closed the class down through lack of interest..

I still own a Gaelic dictionary, bought it with good intentions & after a few looks inside, never bothered, was lured into it by an enchanting quine from Dunoon (she used to write gaelic notes in letters & cards), probably "f€CK 0££ & bother somebody else" but it was nice.
