..and they'll just say 'Well, it was what we said it was, you ordered it anyway...' You have to keep your wits about you a little bit when on there I think, countless times people are making a living out of those of us who don't check products and total cost against shop prices sometimes...right, tea and Giro.
If I buy stuff off there I always look at the total amount of buying price and postage, then base my maximum bid on that. In the past though I've refused to bid on things I've wanted because the seller was taking the pee on postage costs.
I mentioned it to someone I met once who sold on eBay, and his answer was, "it's my job, you're not just paying for the stamp and envelope, you're paying for my time in the same way your boss pays you for your time."
