I retired medically as well.. sort of. I found it hard to get any interviews for anything when I was honest about my MS on my CV, and then found myself disclosing the fact at the interview and not getting the job when I didn't put it on the CV. In the end I had the stroke and we sort of decided that I wouldn't put myself through it any more while I was getting better, so now I don't work gainfully and have a housekeeping budget to do all the stuff at home. Which I mostly spend on bike bits....^_^
Yeah it's difficult.
I want to work for myself but I find it hard to be so disciplined and sometimes the FM can halt me in my tracks.
I don't claim benefits as I went for one of those medicals and was told I was fit for work. I told them to stick it. The Occupational Health doctor had medically retired me only a couple of months before, so how they came to that conclusion I'll never know.

I run the house etc but it is tough with 3 teens still at home and only one wage.

Go on then, at least describe what you were wearing.

Does that sound a bit too much like one of those mucky phone lines?
