Afternoon... brothers eh.. Not long after I signed off this morning I got a call, he'd had a 'bit of a night out' last night and so was phoning to make his excuses...
Anyway, I went out anyway, nice to get out after 10 days enforced rest, damn fine morning. Kids here now, so lemon drizzle cake and tea. Cheers.

Cracker today, glad to have enough energy at last! Having written my report like a good boy I'm now off to cook supper for the kids, will be back later.. (threat or promise, you decide!! )

Oh, glad it was manageable @ScotiaLass, horrible when it's not I'm sure. Right, supper, hungry kids... Bye for now.

Yes thanks much better now. I have found my thinsulate wooly hat and put it in my bike bag, so I can use it if I need to. I will also buy a buff.

I use a buff during the colder weather plus when I'm out on the hills.
It gets put away for the summer, gotta keep the cold out my brain...yes, us men do have these

Evening, supper done. Tea is at 4, supper at 6, dinner at 8, bottle of red from about 10, midnight for a feast. So tomorrow I'm looking forward to breakfast at 8, elevenses at er...11 and lunch at 1. There's a bit of a gap between lunch and tea, I'll be fitting in a banana in there somewhere I reckon.
