Mmmm. Very yummy I suspect.

For a Sparrowhawk, I have a feeling I'd not be that full after just one, especially with all that effort to catch it. Perhaps a few of them served on a kebab skewer with charred peppers and little squares of Feta?

Ahh.. on the subject of food, MrsD came in last night with a few packets of these:

From the side-on view I had, and from the limited view of the top, ie I couldn't see the dog pic at first, I thought she had purchased a few single portion microwave meals for her to have at work... But no, apparently DOGS need Gently Steamed Lamb (sorry WD) with 'Functional' Herbs, Brown Rice and a picture of a Rack of Lamb on the front.. 'Natural holistic and Hypo allergenic complete dog food' it says on the label at the bottom.. I think the last words can be replaced by the word 'b*ll*cks'.
*Rant mode off*

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Yes, and perhaps there is a parallel in the high-end bike selling world, where 'more vertically compliant and laterally stiff' has been used since I was wearing shorts (but not by choice then).
My dog eats tennis balls and cuddly toys button eyes, without them being 'Gently Steamed'. In fact he also ate my daughters Sylvanian Families Penguins when she was first visiting me living with the new MrsD for the first time...that was quite an intense weekend!

Right, I'm off to do the lawn, I'm not saying the grass is getting long but if I can see it from where I'm sitting, just poking above the level of the window sill then I am going to need a machete for the first cut. I might have one more coffee first though...:cuppa:
