Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am up and dressed.
I doubt I'll go out today as I've just realised the boy has a specialist appointment at 3pm.

Never mind. Good luck at his appointmemt

Morning everyone, apologies for my premature finishing last night, apparently it's something I have to work on...I left things hanging apparently so mistiming caused consternation, sorry!

It's a bit grey out there at the moment but with better promised for later on. May be up to a trip on the shopping bike to pick up a prescription from Ottery over the way but I'll see how the wobbliness is after an early dog walk. (My trips to pick up prescriptions 3 miles away have a habit of being about 30 miles longer than absolutely necessary and I have been known to come back without the prescription)

Coffee as usual :cuppa::hello:

Morning. Nice and relaxing here today. Overcast, but not windy so that's something. I may have to go, shopping today. Don't like that prospect as it's a 50 mile round trip, but I have to pay my credit card bill, otherwise the bailiffs will be banging on the door.

Ohh,ohhh...we interrupt this program to bring you news that a male Sparrowhawk just nobbled a Blue Tit off the feeder in the garden I can see from my chair in the lounge here... He flew off up to the neighbours Cherry Tree with it and is currently doing his best to make a meal of it...
Actually WD, you must get Red Kites and maybe Ospreys up around your place? The Kites haven't made it down this far yet but I can see them spreading out from that Mid-Wales stronghold, there's so many of them there now. I did go and see nesting Ospreys at Glaswyn last year as well.

Yes. We have red kites and buzzards and all kinds of owls, and a sparrow hawk swooped past my face a couple of years ago on his quest to get some small bird. He dam near took my nose off. Its a good job I stood completely still, otherwise he would have planted his talons in my face. :laugh:
