I think a penknife, actually, IIRC. Sounds grisly. Thankfully, the guardsmen and a man came and meted out justice at the end of a rope. Knew it, but couldn't figure out how to spell it, as we get no Gaelic training in the US whatever. Never heard Irish spoken in my generation, but knew alot of the songs in English. We've been over here for a long, long, long time. Oh, and I had to clean a dog's ear (otitis) do the dishes, and eat a chocolate chip cookie. And sing Leaving of Liverpool to Mrs GA.
