The more you try the better you will get at reading without missing too much action.

Mrs Blue is hearing impaired so I have many years of subtitle reading and don't mind it at all now. The shows like The Bridge are worth the effort.

I find lip reading helps in day to day conversations but am lost with the tv so subtitles are a good idea

Morning WD. I see the UK has been getting some decent weather.

Morning avalon. Yes as usual. Nasty it is. And I suppose the weather is great where you are. I hear it's the hottest year Australia has had for a long time.

I'm fine....shoulder still very painful but have physio on Monday.
I haven't even put my head out today....just had tea and toast and then I will continue my plotting <wrings hands>

2013 was hot although not as dry as it was a few years ago when the whole country was in drought. Climate ''experts'' are predicting Australia will become hotter and drier while the UK could loose the Gulf Stream, making the climate up there a lot more like Canada's.

Nice. Bet you wish you had more rain don't you. ? They survive quite well in canada, you just have to adapt which is something the British don't do very well.
