Puddles

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
I think it was more the idea that it made it seem like a valid option?

Those of you who saw the original film rather than the series may remember that a character decides to commit suicide because he suspects that he might be gay, after having sexual problems on a one-night-stand with a nurse.

Classic is right it was first banned in the Gulf War in 1990 so most likely politically rather than religiously motivated

Blimey - look at the Gulf War list! Some of them you could (maybe) see, but Abba's Waterloo and John Lennon's Imagine?

But Imagine was all a bit dubious lyrics wasn't it, my brain is not functioning enough to give a full and rounded response
The BBC were offended by a man in his white mansion, playing his white grand piano, and singing 'Imagine no possessions' ...?

Okay, it was probably:

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

Heaven forbid that war preparations be undermined by such pacifist claptrap!

See that would be an "Anti Our Brave Lads" out there fighting for queen and country song so not allowed during war and also wasn't it supposed to be pro-communist thinking?

Well yes, it'll do nicely, thanks Hoppy

There's gravity for you

Ooh share please - :hungry:

I am waiting for Mr P to come in to have dinner as I had a late ham and coleslaw roll at Mums but I am also hungry now and the small people eating is making it worse!
