Same here. I can sort of understand it for racing where it can automatically feather the chain and save a miniscule amount of drag, but for everyday use a cable does pretty much the same job, never needs charging and weighs hardly anything. I don't see the point for us mere mortals.I'm not convinced by electronic shifting, I don't like the idea of having to charge the bike up before going for a ride...
Hi avalon. CheersMorning everyone. Coffee?
Hi Avalon be sure to mention the temperature for WD, she does so like to know your warm down there
Sorry, forgot to mention it's 24C out there at the moment. Expecting a top of 37C.Hi Avalon be sure to mention the temperature for WD, she does so like to know your warm down there

Wouldn't a phone be better for a call? Early or late.evening all , slippy fingers on keyboard, just cleaning my bike, ready for a late call this week.
Thank you avalonBy the way Rbreid, that's a nice looking frame you have there.
you really that old?Oh the Brecons.....aaah sweet memories. Know them intimately, on foot. That was a long long time ago before the age of Dragons even. Fan fawr was my pet hate in winter, windswept shelterless soul sapper when fully kitted.
