I like the tune of that Family Farm Survival song that @classic33 posted.

You can't get rid of the Autumn and Winter months, they are awesome as they are a great time to get some extra miles on the bike while those fair weather people are back in their cars/on the hot and horrid trains/underground.

It also means that next spring/summer I may drop some of those FWC's in a bit of SCR. (I can dream )

I read yesterday (in The Star) that Britain is going to be battered by the back end of the storm that has done so much damage in the Phillipines, going to take a few weeks to reach us but will make winter very bad this year

Sounds more like Daily Star cobblers to me. Whatever storms we get over the winter will not be coming from the Phillipines.
