Walking home yesterday, I heard a voice behind me say "Got a light mate?" I turned round and saw a passenger in a car in the traffic queue with his window open looking at me. When he saw I was actually a girl, he just sat there with his mouth opening and closing like a confused fish. I said "No!" and continued to look at him, and he continued to look like a confused fish. So, in deference to his heavy brow and confused expression, I muttered "neanderthal!" and walked on.

Unfair to Neanderthals really.
