Not yet, can not have too much excitement this close to bedtime.

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
The nice man from Urge is coming tomorrow morning to give Bertha's gears a service and also to teach Squidge how to maintain his bicycle and change a tyre and adjust brakes and things like that. I am all ready for him and I have green tea. Squidge has been threatened with the removal of this happening if he wakes 1/2 the house up in the middle of the night again... for a 3rd night running.

I was a bit stressed after I left I could have done with something much stronger than caffine.
I knew there was a reason why I never made it as an IT expert :giggle:
This is why I get cross every time somebody says "Oh, you know all about computers - why don't you set yourself up in business selling them and fixing them?" It's bad enough having my head done in by my own computers, without getting hassled by people to fix theirs! (And also - carting heavy computer kit about when you don't drive wouldn't exactly be easy round here ...)

I remember what it was like when I used to fix people's electronic kit (when it was still viable to do it, before stuff got so complicated and specialised). Example - I spent 3 hours finding a strange fault in a hifi amp., went down to the local electronics hobby shop for a spare part, came back and spent 30 minutes fixing the problem. The 'grateful' owner then gave me 10 B&H by way of thanks, and at the time the ciggies cost the same as the part I'd just bought!

Citrus degreaser did not get the superglue off my Thermos mug! It did get the rest of the mug nice and shiny though ...

Looks like I will have to get hold of some acetone.

The Sports Direct mug with a keep-tea-warm lid works pretty well, but I am going to have to build up my arm muscles if I am going to carry on using it - it weighs about double what the old mug did when full of tea!
