A full load can be 150kgs. That's on top of the weight of the trike, and me!

I often get overtaken by pedestrians.

I am impressed that is a big load! I generally only get lots more weight on the way back from the farm shop or supermarket which is alright as it is one long road and downhill all the way for 4 miles

Today I did have a full 2kg of 'stuff' in my lightweight racing panier though

My chain I use for locking the bike is twice that weight. Comes from being on the wrong side of the border!!

It might be close, but we're doing our best. Of course having made the resolution, things slipped a bit, and then we rebuilt NT's parents bathroom for them, which took up some time, and we're not in Manchester every weekend...

But we're doing pretty well. One coat of white undercoat on the whole room today:

If we can, we'll get another coat on tomorrow, although we also need to go and buy some stuff, and we're out at 3pm to go and volunteer at the railways 'haunted trains' evening. We may be the sound effects for the headless horseman, apparently.

Back from a little jaunt. Went to Lepe beach to see the tiny lighthouse. Then the memorial to the Portuguese
soldiers who worked the forest during the first world war . The fireplace was where the cook house was situated . And then too the grave of the women who inspired the character Alice in Wonderland.
