Safe for another winter. What's the forecast for tomorrow there?

It's going to rain a little in the morning but should be OK for the rest of the day. It'll be a bit breezy (about 16mph). Sunday might be a bit wet.

Well expect sunshine from 3pm onwards on Sunday as I will bring it back with me, it's too nice to leave here for others to enjoy.

I agree, that does look sad. When did it first open? It looks very similar to the sort of swimming pool that I went to, in .. um .. whenever.... Livingstone Road Baths, in Coventry.

I learned to swim at Livingstone Road Baths when I was 8 years old! (Coventry's super 50 metre pool was not built until 2 years later, in 1966.)

Ahh...for some reason I thought it was Clare Balding.

She did a series of scenic bike rides, including one round here, on my 'Trauma of Trawden' route.

Don't think its a bowling ball!! You'll have noticed the diving boards above & to the right. Also the stainless steel box of tissue paper?

Should I be making a connection between the diving boards and stainless steel box of tissues as to the identity of the bowling ball type object?
