Totally right there Phil however on the ride i have planned for tomorrow i will have an elevation gain of 1496ft. Not bad for a Southern Hill Wimp

Pfft thats not a hill its a speed bump :giggle:

Good news from Kettlewatch.

I found exactly the same sort of kettle as wot I have got now. I thought it would be obsolete. I like this kettle because it is sturdily-built (except when you drop it), and the lid flips nicely open without fiddling about. I am sure I can manage without a Bugatti kettle.

Enough of this "southern softie" nonsense if that's what you call "hilly" ... south-eastern, let's be clear about that :thumbsup:

I'm dog-sitting for the next couple of days. Snipe's confused as the appearance of Moss usually precedes a long walk in the hills or on the beach, and Moss is confused because she's been abandoned.
