Yes, my G&T is helping me get my sanity back after a totally pointless meeting i had to attend.

The weekend improves? I have got 7 bags of lemons from Sainsburys and will spend best part of tomorrow rubbing them on laminated transformer core.

You could have employed us and fed us tea a cake whilst we did it.

TVC why do you rub lemons onto a transformer core?

To get the rust off. It's what the customer wants. Anything abrasive will short between the laminations destroying the eddy current channelling properties of the core, so a mild acid etch is required. I think it's barking, but they are paying us to do it.

Apply a light mineral oil, like what the supplier should have done.
