Google The Cake Nest - they do on-line deliveries. Very tempted with the gluten free for my missus as a 'pressie'.

I love it " Send a hug in an envelope" :thumbsup:

@ColinJ

I'm calling you over from Mundane as i wanted to know if we had any photos from todays ride from you ?

If i ask that in mundane i will get shot.:biggrin:
It was grey and drizzly here today so I decided to stay in, rest my legs and watch the World TT Championships instead!

It looks like we have some more nice cycling days coming up though, so I will try and get out and photograph some more Yorkshire hills for you to avoid! :thumbsup:

Oooh I shall peer as brother & nephew need gluten free when they visit although we are very very lucky here we have "Deli Divine" in the next village that specialises in gluten free and other "free" things and the lady that runs it is gluten free herself, we also have a cupcake producer in the other village that does gluten free. I

My wife is going gluten free as much as she can. Thyroid condition, and she only has an intolerance to it, but she's not well when she has 'more gluten' - found everything rather expensive, but if I can get her some nice cake is a good bonus, as they have to avoid it.

the cakes from Cake Nest are to die for. The 'Rainbow' cake looks sickly (lots of colours) but is so light it's amazing. My daughter loves it !

Seriously tempted with the 6 months of gluten free cakes for my wife as a Xmas pressie.

I have also found Aldi & Lidl are much better for gluten free as they do at least have the gluten free label on things which bigger supermarket do not, i.e. something does not contain gluten but it does not say gluten free, my brother & nephew have coeliac disease so cannot have any gluten at all, it is shame they do not post to Eire as that is where they live but I might think about getting some for Mum to take out when she visits next month.

This place is good for going gluten free with info http://www.coeliac.org.uk/coeliac-disease

Puddles, we will have to look out for the labels - I find that we have to trek round tesco and others to find any. Didn't know Aldi had any gluten free - what are we looking for ? Fab stuff !

It is not a range per se they just label more as gluten free that tesco do not bother with

Oh gosh loads because they have more Europe style labels, umm let me think there are loads and loads of chocolates, crisp, cheese (yes not all cheese is gluten free) a lot of chilled desserts,

Tesco has a crap range, Asda & Sainsbury is much much better. Dove farm is great for bake your own things.
