Aaah, that might be a problem when I get back to Heathrow. I suspect that shorts and T-shirt will not be suitable attire. Better see if I can find a vest in one of these designer shops at the airport

According to @deptfordmarmoset vests are now known as base layers. So after all those years when I used to do a lot of climbing I have been wearing a vest

I prefer the term base layer it's got that je ne sais quoi?

Plus is it possible to have a string base layer? I think not.

It's a pretty spectacular city really.

Nope we had a noisy weather night so I have been up and down like a fiddlers elbow with User76 as she burrowed into our bed and then had to cling & wriggle a lot, I am now up "proper" rather yawny and in need of coffee whilst small people breakfast on boring toast & cups of milk - the small people are of course full of beans
