I like new things when I need them, but I am happy with my Mk1 Galaxy Tab.

My 12 year old 28" SDTV is still going strong, courtesy of a 2-channel Freeview recorder. I would like to go HD at some point, but that can wait.

My desktop PC dates from 2000. It is okay for most things I want to do, but it can't handle HD video. TBH, I haven't used it since I got ill last year because for 6 months I couldn't sit upright at my desk for more than a couple of minutes. I have got used to my 5 year old laptop, which I have no plans to upgrade any time soon.

I upgraded my phone last year ... to a used one off eBay! It suits me. I have just entered a competition to win a super new phone which I would love to own, but I'm blowed if I would pay over £500 for one even if I had the cash!

My Basso frame is about 10 years old but most of the bits on it came off a bike that I bought in 1999. My MTB came along smack in the middle of the Foot and Mouth outbreak of 2001 which closed all the local bridleways! My Cannondale is relatively new - 2004.

I am happy to 'recycle' any FREE working tech kit that potsy doesn't grab first!

I started looking at possible replacements for my netbook a while ago, maybe a tablet or a small laptop.
This one has been great but is showing some signs of damage after being dropped on the floor about 6 times

Don't need anything other than the ability to browse the web and store pics/music, will have to investigate what is out there

They have some tiny (used?) netbooks in the window of the computer shop in HB for under £100!

Having said that, I'd look at a Nexus 7 and a Bluetooth keyboard.
