It's brilliantly here but my poor no.2 son starts his finals today in Cambridge. He finishes them on Thursday and then has planned a month long party to celebrate.

Does anyone know an easy way to freeze rhubarb. I have been given some lovely rhubarb, but far more than I am likely to use over the next week. Can I "open" freeze chunks of rhubarb, rather like "open" freezing raspberries etc? Or does it need blanching/boiling first, and how long for.

I am not feeling well enough to fiddle about in the kitchen. I know I could ask this on the "Food" forum, but I know that peeps on Tea? have a lot of knowledge about all sorts of things.

He's reading natural sciences and has a place at Kings College London to read graduate entry medicine in September if he gets a 2:1.

I'm hoping that he'll open a very lucrative private practice and be able to pay for my diving holidays

Cut into chunks, blanch for about 1 minute then straight into cold water to stop it cooking. When cold pop into a bag and freeze.

Yep, they are good lads, thanks. Neither cycle much and both support Wasps but I guess you can't have everything
