Anywho Rocky, just trying to decide if we walk in Iceland or Switzerland for our next break, when I came across this:
http://www.exodus.co.uk/holidays/msi/overview

Beats Finchley high street

I'd like to visit Iceland, looks spectacular, but the state of the road in that picture, I won;t be cycling! I like smooth tarmac too much.

The only foreign travel plan NT and I have is a trip to Hamburg to see Miniatur-Wonderland We may save it for the our honeymoon!

(but any recommendations for nice reasonably priced hotels in Hamburg welcome!)

Yep, Easyjet from Luton, £80 each over my birthday weekend. ! Lu has just watched the Wunderland video on Youtube. It could be a goer.

I can certainly recommend Iceland. Super wondrous place. I expect it'll have changed tho' as I was there in the late 70's. Although the weather will still be random.
We did the south east corner a couple of years ago, and walked on the glacier about 6 months before it blew up. Absolutely loved the place and have a real need to go back. Gone are the days of it being super expensive, we went after the crash, and all costs were comparable to the UK.

Iceland is certainly excellent.
Hamburg is nice too - but it was better when you could get a ferry from Harwich.
Just got back from the first WNRttP I've done this year.
