I just bought a locomotive. A class 03 diesel shunter.
I did the 'throw a small bid on near the end and then watch the bids sky rocket in the closing seconds'. My bid was only a couple of quid over the current bid and in the closing seconds it went up in pence and I won! I only paid a few pence more then the bidding when I joined in.

Arch? Can you pick up a loco for me? It's in York!
^_^

Depends where it is. I have to clean after work tomorrow, and suspect I'll be knackered.

Home now from the pork buffet. Very good, but I'm stuffed now, and thirsty! Don't want tea this late though, just water.

I figured that unless it is near home or work it wouldn't be worth your while.

Besides, I didn't say it was a scale model...

It is though.^_^

The first loco for the layout. I will sell the J52 and LNER coaches as they won't feature on it.

Not long to go. We really need Arch, Wol, Wocky, Phil, Potsy and Jo all being more chatty tonight.

I might miss it if I don't log on straight away in the morning.
I will definitely miss it because nothing much is happening now and you will all have been chattering away for hours by the time that I finally emerge from my delayed slumber!

Morning :hello:

I have been programming my heli all evening and it is now ready for its maiden flight tomorrow ....... however I dont expect it will be more than a maiden quick jump in the air to make sure everything is moving in the right direction.

Good luck with the MF Phil, hope there's a clear blue sky and no wind. My Son had a Raptor a couple of year ago, so I know it's a great skill flying one. It was known as cheque book flying at our Flying Club. For any advise Derrick of this parish is a Helicopter man.
