To be honest when I bought the kit I knew it would be a nightmare, but the part I thought would be difficult building it only took 2 days.

But I wanted to build it so it will improve my understanding of how they work, I will get it programmed but I need to sit down and mess with it for a couple of days and at the moment I cant be bothered.

It is like computer programming I love doing it when I can be bothered to sit down and get on with it but I can always find other things I would rather be doing.

I have been cleaning the inside of the car. As I had the vacuum cleaner out, I vacuumed some of the corners in the garage that I missed with the sweeping brush a few weeks ago. Before I could put the vacuum cleaner back in the cupboard, I needed to tidy the cupboard a bit.

Later one, I am taking Leo to the Vet for his Leo's flu jab, worming tablet etc.

Now it is time for lunch. Well, an apple and a hot drink, as today is my second fasting day this week.

Later on, I will be making the second very large cushion cover for the sofa. Tomorrow the car is having a service.

When would I find time to go to work?

I had a little panic earlier on. I got a letter saying that my car insurance hadn't been paid. I checked my back account and no money had been taken (should be on DD), nor had any payment 'bounced'.
I phoned the insurance company and they couldn't explain either.
Paid on my debit card and no problem.

At least it is paid for now.

I sent my younger son (aged 21 and revising for his finals) out to get some shopping yesterday. He drove to the local supermarket in his mother's car. On the way he was stopped by the police - who initially told him that they suspected that he was in the possession of a number of firearms. They then said that it was a joke and that they were checking up on whether young drivers had insurance. He gave them his details and they were able to confirm that he was indeed insured to drive the car. He found it funny.....I was less than amused at the policeman's attempt at humour.
Blimey! They can't do that can they?
I wouldn't be amused if it was me.
I'd laugh along for the duration though as it'll save challenging them and then being taken in to be investigated further to justify their original firearms 'challenge'.
