Well to be fair, the first one was from my giant avengers mug. Which equates to about 2.5 standard cups. So my caffeine levels are nice and high ready to kick people out of the jobcentre. Yippeeeee

I'm back from the pool...did 2500m. I was planning on going for a ride but it was :rain: here.

Coffee is needed and lots of toast. :hungry:

If Jo is out, Potsy is asleep, and Nat is kicking people out of job centres, it's going to be a quiet day. I could talk to myself - it has been known before.

I am in the back garden trying to figure out why the tail on my new heli spins round and round out of control :cursing: and in between time I have these customers wanting me to do work as well.

The tail blades are either going too fast or too slow, I guess....but you probably knew that already.

Is there a reset button on the software? You'll have to excuse my stupid suggestions.....but if you wait long enough a real expert like Wol might come along

I wish it was that simple, the tail blades are connected by a shaft to the main blades so you cant adjust the speed.

I suspect the problem is due to the gyro not compensating for the rotation of the main blades by angling the tail rotors correctly so therefore is spins round in circles, once I can get it to angle the tail rotors properly it should sort it out, quite how you do that I dont know at the moment.

Unlike the cheapo helis this one doesnt vary the speed of the tail rotors to control the tail it changes the angle of the blades on the tail, it make setting it up a bit more difficult.

Yes, Fabian's knees are a lovely shade of brown. :heat:

The garden can get very dry, as I live on the top of a hill. Even on a "normal" day it can be very breezy. There are some extremely tall trees not far away, and when the wind blows through them, it makes a lovely rustling sound.

Some days it can be very noisy in the garden, with the wind in the trees, the woodpecker hammering a tree, and all the birds twittering and tweeting to each other all day. ^_^ Then at night there is the owls and the foxes!

We're still at 1997.

Oh well, I'll come back later then.:giggle:

Overslept a bit due to another night long coughing session. so a bit :tired:. However, I am determined to do something with the rest of the day so I will probably miss 2000. But given how many others might also be busy elsewhere and are expecting to miss 2000 perhaps none of us will. Maybe it will an exponential curve that tends towards, but never quite meets, the 2000 point.

Just imagining the post rate slowing down and down as we get closer and then just as the first post to hit 2000 arrives the site crashes!:giggle:
