It's :sun: and spring like at last. Shame I've been stuck inside a hospital most of the day.

I went to see the doc about a persistent pain in the abdomen yesterday afternoon and before I knew it, was whisked into the surgical assessment unit for tests.

Several bouts of poking and prodding plus blood tests and an X-ray later it is confirmed I don't have appendicitis.:wahhey:

Waiting for the last bout of prodding and confirmation this morning was 4.5 hours of boredom while the staff dealt with the victims of a major crash near Welshpool. Makes my bit of an ache seem rather trivial.

Yes please to :cuppa:. It's been a thirsty 24 hours.

I bet, glad to hear your appendix is behaving. Did they find out what it was after all that?

We've been out to a little local model railway show. There was a nice little layout with a sense of humour and whimsy about it, and an interesting building....

The notice said that the only vehicle in it that was exactly to scale, was a bus that happened to be a novelty pencil sharpener!

HUG smiley.gif for Phil and more :cuppa:

I have been in the garden all afternoon. Lots of :sun: here. While I was sitting on the patio recovering from gardening, it was warm enough not to need a jumper. ^_^

I have been cutting down old foliage, weeding, and sweeping. Unbelievably I had to water some plants that were looking distinctly thirsty. I also managed to dig out the compacted yukky stuff at the bottom of the compost heap. ^_^ It was a messy compacted blob because I added some water in the dry spell last spring.

More gardening tomorrow, will see the garden begin to look like a garden. In some places already the soil is very dusty. It is now time for a shower followed by a Chinese take away. I might also open a bottle of wine.

No not really. Nothing showed up on the tests so it's a suspected stomach bug. Seems to be clearing now.

Its very :sun:outside so I went for a ride and it was a mixture of  and :cold: but now it is more  .

! did 56 hilly miles in preperation for the SITD ( god help me ).

Since xmas I have lost nearly a stone ( very clumsy of me I know ) and now I am finding my breathing on hills is much easier now my lungs have more room due to my big fat tummy not been so big and fat, but this winter has messed up my hill climbing legs big time

Posty we may need to turn the SITD into a forum walk
