How are you doing the mash?

*shut it Jo*
Bake spuds. Let them cool, hollow out the flesh then simmer the skins for 5 mins in milk. Use the milk with butter to cream the flesh to a super smooth mash. How do you do yours?

So after about 15 years of asking my Dad to do it, I have finally gotten around to installing the two way switching for the basement lights.
That saves me feeling my way through the dark, with maybe my phone to light the way, and then groping about for the light switch at the other end of the basement where the back stairs are.

Didn't take that long with Arch's help, though finding and refitting the two dropped screws from a ceiling rose, in the dark, was a bit fiddly!

I should point out that as labourer, my part in the proceedings was to hammer in the cable clips. And look for the dropped screws. It were Master as did all t'work.

You did also help pull the cable through the holes in the ceiling joists and also helped with twiddling the screwdriver*.

*I have a very painful middle finger knuckle that is making 'doing stuff' very difficult.

Yup, we've had a brew. I've also cleaned up some shelved wooden boxes NT found in his basement that will be perfect for storing paper and card and stuff in my workshop - just running over them with a damp cloth to get rid of the dust.
