Just had a flying visit from the boss, who was extremely complementary about the state of the workshop and the way it is developing. He even took photos.

My goodness I hope not: I wouldn't want that level of stress. I do have a smaller goal within the organisation though, and the first step is getting the bike shop working...

Also it may be down your street but I think it'd still be a long commute...

Added to the "clutter that has been here for ages honest" in the small storeroom so it isn't too obvious that there was a repair stand until yesterday.

£50, when I bought mine.

Currently 12-21°c. Winter drops to a low of about freezing. We have a Mediterranean micro climate which is why there are vineyards everywhere.

I'm having internet issues at the moment, but the shop is still coming along. I finally got the tyre hooks I've been asking for, which meant I could actually sort the tyres out and can find the ones I'm looking for:

I may need to work on labelling, as it turns out that the system that seemed logical to me wasn't logical to everyone else, but still, it's an improvement.

I've been promised 8 more for smaller and unusually shaped tyres, and next week the workshop are putting together the first of the big wooden hangers for wheels.

The smaller I can understand, but unusually shaped! Aren't most circular, when viewed from the side?

I was referring, possibly rather sloppily, to things like 27 1/2" tyres and collapsible tyres which for us are still a bit unusual.
