I was asking if anyone knew the date what is on a post office Pashley delivery bike im restoring for a customer.
As i run a large bike business much of which is vintage bike restorations like the old trade bikes i have two of these in plus other vintage bikes like Vindect, philipps, Bsa, and many other makes from way back. A BSA Tour of Britain that was in the actual tour race in the 60s.
The numbers are on the rear chrome metal hub.
The numbers are.
00 - 3
Ive now contacted a post office engineer that assembled tbese bikes and he said it has been made in
March 2000
I also have a 1942 post office delivery bike from the same customer who i am also restoring for him.
Plus a BSA racer which is 1951 from the same customer for restoration.
