im not even getting to the page , getting host errors edit .... working now ;)

It's bizarre - I couldn't get it on my laptop but could get it on my iPhone - no idea how any of it works, I'm just glad it's pretty reliable. And I like the way he puts up the last 10km of most races, later in the evening. In fact, you could probably watch the whole of the race later too

Watching MSR on SBS via vpn/app/spoof Google account. Bonzer, or whatever them there Austrailiaralians say, innit.

I tried watching MSR on SBS via the player. Initially it worked fine. When I came back a an hour or so later to watch the remaining 60km, it recognised I was using an ad blocker - so I turned that off but still wouldn't let me watch the transmission, suggesting I use an incognito mode if using a VPN to identify the offending extension - which I did. The incognito mode allowed me to watch the race but the picture quality was poor but ultimately no joy. So, connected to an italian web server and watched the rest of the race via the Italian Rai player - in Italian. So, there is something in my setup which the SBS player doesn't like - even though it did initially allow me to use it 🤔

Have found sometimes I need to sign out & log back into SBS on a browser before it will play, despite it allowing me to navigate to the sport section first 🤔

As a follow-up to my original SBS comment, I tried opening the SBS player on a different browser - Safari (I use a Mac) to see whether the issue is browser related and guess what - I can watch SBS on Safari!! So too late for MSR but re future races, I should be able to use the SBS on demand player on Safari, meaning I get English commentary.

On my phone, Samsung S25 Ultra, SBS connects OK with Chrome Browser, on my tablet Samsung S9 it says I have an ad browser running, I don't, I have checked the settings and they are the same on both devices, but all is not lost because SBS will play on the Samsung browser on the tablet. 🫤

That's too bad. I guess from my own experience, it's a case of trying to watch using your preferred browser - if that doesn't work, follow instructions provided - e.g. switch off ad blockers etc., and try again. If that doesn't work, try a different browser - e.g. Safari (re Mac users), and if that doesn't work - then look for alternative streams in different countries. Also, re feedback from the user base here, one can always try the Tiz cycling site - which if working, will have English commentary. So a number of options are available to get around the joke TNT paywall. Good luck!!

I tried Nord on Safari, no joy. Switched off blockers, no joy. Tried Firefox, no joy.
Back to the drawing board for me.

If you don’t mind foreign commentary, there should be several other options for Catalunya, which will work with a Spanish VPN and for the main events of the next fortnight, there’s going to be Sporza on VRT 1.
The only race I am not sure about is the E3 on Friday, as it’s not in VRT’s schedules.

Update - Works fine on my phone so I must have some blocker lurking on my laptop.
Ways and means winner though, especially if I find the lurker.
