Methodists don't have Bishops?

But that Bishop has Methodists.

Coordination between the roadworks traffic teams is Norfolk 'n' good once again. Aren't they meant to use symbols or numbers or something to distinguish the two diversions when this happens? Both exits used for the diversions are the A149, even though the King's Lynn one is "stealth" at this junction and not numbered

This has got to be about the weirdest sign on a designated cycle route. What's unsuitable about it? What are the alternatives?

They spent an enormous amount of money on a big enamalled sign at each end of the bridge, but I couldn't find one aspect that made the bridge surface unsuitable.

Now I could understand a more general sign that said "Much of the cycling infrastructure provided by your local council is unsuitable for use by cyclists", but this bridge was fine!

That looks like a metal grid surface, like the bridge I cycle across every day on the way to work.

From this angle, it looks like the wheels, on a bike with narrow tyres, could get caught between the ridges of the grid. The panels should have been laid at right angles to the way they have been.

The same reason why road drain covers should always be fitted with the slots either diagonal or at right angles to the normal direction of travel.

I believe the metal rails raised between the horse matting panels are considered skid hazards for bikes. I think that's the "A Frame Bridge" on NCN1 Marriott's Way west of Norwich and the shameful thing is it wasn't that way until Norfolk County Council repaired it. See the photo on https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/23741400.bridge-norfolks-marriotts-way-shut-repairs/

The alternative route is Hellesdon/Drayton Low Road, which is hillier and a car ratrun.

That's the bridge! And the explanation seems highly likely. But the sign could be a hell of a lot more informative. From reading the sign, I thought the whole thing would explode if you tried to cross on a bike.
