Followed a van through Glasgow yesterday. At the top of the doors it had "Clarkson van hire". At the bottom "No relative of Jeremy ". Made me smile.

I've seen a few good ones on vans, there's a company up here that does roofing/guttering with the tag line "Don't Let Fiddlers On Your Roof" and going through the Dartford crossing, a flat bed Transit for a tree felling company called "Tree Wise Men"

Never been sure what that sort of sign means - is it implying a constant police presence at those times? Or are the local crims vampires?

I think it means that you can not commit any crime between 8am and 6pm, after 6pm you're free to commit any crime you like.

Not an amusing sign as such but one that I havn't seen before. it is professionaly made from a laminate of some type (resin?) and looks like a waymark. It has recently been fixed to a footbridge at a road junction about a mile from the village of Lythe near Whitby. I am local to the area and have a good knowledge of most footpaths, cycleroutes and trails in the area and it has me puzzled . Can anone enlighten me.

Is it the coastal walk? Suspect it is a geological trail & the numbers are points of interest

Been standing there for a week or so already & no sign of a ticket. One rule for some & another rule for others...
