We stopped at a road sign in France for the village of 'Ponchardon' and had a picture taken with me standing in front of the 'Ponc' part, that one went straight off to Viz.

So, what do you call a person who hails from Flash...?

My American friends think it's great we recognise our minorities by naming the road into Arnside 'Black Dyke Road'.

Our local one is Minge Lane,, oh yeh, Cockshot Rd,, Druggers End, Hornyold Rd and Arse Street [ I have made up one of these names, can you guess which one?

We have a village near Cheltenham called Uckington as you leave the M5. The road sign regularly gets altered...

There is a village in Austria called *ucking, the Police are fed up with the British stealing the *ucking road signs.

We have some friends that live on Black Dyke Road in Arneside, they are in their early 60's and are the youngest people in arneside, in fact an Arneside taxi is an Ambulance.

There's a place in Cornwall called "Penny come Quick", I never found out if it was true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's nowhere near Cornwall....it's in Plymouth and is a stone's throw from my laptop as we speak. There is also a pub there...called The Pennycomequick.
