I imagine that L has been replaced a fair few times as there's on;y so many times you can bend it back before the top snaps off.

I'm ridden past a Swelling and Twatley Manor Farm and I've seen Tomtit's Bottom!

There are rather a lot of Twatts in Orkney and Shetland Not to mention Burn Of Twatt and my personal favourite Twathats near Dumfries.

Penistone isn't small and obscure though, it's very large. There's a place near here called Fence, always thought that absurd.
