Much easier than many people believe. If you search this section of Cycle Chat you will see an often posted video off you tube that gives easy to follow guidance.
Well the rear QR leaver only turns half the way round before it hits the drops/frame and unable to turn anymore as the leaver catches the frame so cannot even get them tight. Have to call the dealer again in the morning.
The QR are the Shimano ones not the original giant ones. Should they have used the original ones with the new shimano wheels.
Also mrandmrspoves may I ask which step you are talking about so I can search for the suggested post

For the QR levers, take the slack out by turning the nut on the non lever end. Then close the QR skewer. It needs to be quite firmly closed (firm enough to leave an imprint in the palm of your hand off the lever if you use the palm to close it)
For the gears, follow this:
Also, just in case..... the QR lever is best on the left side of the bike as it keeps it out of the way of the rear derailleur. It shouldn't matter that they're a different make.
I have tried turning the QR nut on the other side and closing the leaver but the only postion it closes to is point out backwards. See image. Plus I always thought you are not meant to tighten using the nut but only the leaver side.
Think I should get the dealer to swap the QR with the old ones on the giant wheel
