Looks like im not the only one then that's had enough, thought about going out to get some miles but this cold wind just isn't fun, wouldn't be so bad if it was warm.
But thats the same with or without strava.

I agree about the weather, just take it easier and enjoy it, just the challenge getting through it is enough, and as you say Andrew a loop has some chance a of favourable winds.I'm going to go out inspite of the wind, and I'm going to try and go as slowly as possible and really soak up the scenery. Perhaps if there's no such thing as the wrong weather (just the wrong clothing), then perhaps it could also be true that there's no such thing as the wrong weather (just the wrong goals).
That being said Oh. My. Corns we need some clement weather soon!
What? No jumping up and down, foot stamping or bike kicking like Basil Fawlty?
Glad it's not just me...........I seem to be constantly sniffing and wiping too. Can't wait to ride without the constant Niagra falls dripping from my snozzle pipe. Where does it come from? You blow your nose until blue in the face, ride 50yds and its off again.

I can put up with the cold weather. It's the strong easterly wind that I've had enough of.
I did 27 miles around Swansea today and it was the hardest ride I have ever done. I am larger than the average rider so suffer more in the wind.
At one point today I was doing only 7.5mph on the flat. The forecast for the next few days shows the wind continuing.
I only did 20 miles today. it was like riding uphill all the way with the wind.
