No doubt, this needs to be reported.

A mother and child were killed in Copenhagen recently by someone overtaking a waiting vehicle at a zebra crossing - the same thing could easily have happened here.

I have seen a lot of bad driving over the years. But that is just unbelievably bad.

thats as bad as it gets, no question that needs reporting....so easily could have been a serious accident.

+1 to all the above. Shockingly dangerous behaviour! The driver shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Next time the peds might not be so lucky! I feel sick just thinking about the carnage that could have resulted.

I would say it is more scary for the silver oncoming car than you.

I cant understand why he decided to get past everyone all of a sudden. He was waiting patiently behind already.

Not just bad driving, that's malicious driving. Report to police and I'd hope the driver would be charged.

At the risk of being cynical, plod may not be interested if 'only' a cyclist was in danger; however here a pedestrian and motorist are at risk so they are more likely to take it seriously. Unless you have better footage it will be hard to get the full number. I think the attached screen-shot is the best I can do.
