Another great Ireland performance. Feels like the top 4 are some distance from the others. Scotland probably gets the best of the rest badge followed by Wales, Fiji and England. Ireland v NZ could be epic.

Not impossible, though two of the QFs have the best 4 teams between them, and could each go either way (Ireland v NZ and France v SA).

The other two seem more likel,y to go to England and Wales, but neither are foregone conclusions by any means.

Good stuff so far between Wales and Argentina. Nothing against Wales but I prefer the Argentinian style of rugby so I'd like them to win, if only to make Dawson look like a fool.

Looking ahead, I think France are taking a huge risk with Dupont against South Africa. Personally I'd have used him as an impact sub, and it's not like Lucu is a poor replacement.

If anything happens to him it really doesn't look great from a player welfare point of view, especially when so much has been made of head contact.

Great result for Argentina, thoroughly deserved. England were lucky to play them before they properly got going.
