I was in a car on the M56 heading to Manchester on Saturday when it broke down. The tow truck that picked us up had also towed Ronaldo's car away (same truck, different driver). Apparently Ronaldo had been racing Van der Sar and put his foot down going into the tunnel (a high-performance car makes a lot of noise in the tunnel but the back-end swings out if you're not used to it), Ronaldo hit the barrier and then bounced from one wall to the other four times!!!! The car was two days old.

I heard Mohamad Al fayed wanted to sign Ronaldo. Not to play football for Fulham but to teach his chauffers how to crash in a tunnel and walk away from the car....

The paper said today that the police were checking hours of CCTV footage to see if he was on the phone when he crashed.

Er, just like check his call records with the mobile company? Duh.
