tango kid- You can send it via courier for about £20 depending on the weight - if you search the forum you'll find threads posted about it.

Can I also spread a word of caution about ebay and gumtree...

If a bike is a ridiculous bargain- beware of it being stolen, I've had several bikes stolen that have then appeared on those sites.

Don't buy if it;s dodgy or potentially dodgy - you're fuelling the industry of bike theft.

May I ask what you've been able to do once you've discovered them?

OT but there's threads a few years ago about the stolen Specialized Ruby on here- two bikes stolen within months of each other and you can read about the unhelpful and incompetent Met police there.

Nothing in short to answer your question- watched the bloody things be sold..twice, hence a bargain, too good to be true and a generic advert on gumtree/ebay...always check that the owner can give evidence that the bike belongs to them.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
He has said this about the size of the bike, what sort of size person would this fit??

centre of crank to top ofseat tube is 20inches - 50.5cm from ground to top of cross bar is 29inches - 74 cm centre of seat tube to centre of handlebar tube is 21inches - 50cm centre of crank to rear axle is 15 3/ inches 40cm

And Moss, do you have a link to a website to show what the bike looks like/is?? And what sort of size your daughter's partner is if it fits him?? Also, what would he say about postage given that i live in yorkshire??

Mike

Mike,

if you type Decathlon Cycles in to Google they will find the shop! I'd say a 54cm, would suit a 5ft.6in to a 5ft,10in person, or anywhere inbetween! Re, postage? Contact Matthew on the email I posted. But I'm sure they could arrange postage for you.
