Sinking Ship.
A ship is sailing in the Atlantic ocean ... it sinks and every single person dies.....how is that possible?

The captain allows only passengers and crew with wives or husbands onto the life boats?

There was a train going along the track and a car coming along the road at a right angle to the train. They were both going at exactly the same speed and would have crashed in the middle where they met. Why didn't they?

Either car went under or over a bridge.

Downhill Mountain Bike Race
At the recent downhill mountain bike race, four entrants entered the challenging slalom event. Alan came first. The entrant wearing number 2 wore red, whereas John didn't wear yellow. The loser wore blue and Steve wore number 1. Kev beat Steve and the person who came second wore number 3. The entrant in yellow beat the entrant in green. Only one of the entrants wore the same number as their final position.
Who finished where, the number and colour they wore?

Murder Weekend
During a recent murder mystery weekend, four games were played.

In one game Mrs Scarlett used the spanner, but not in the library.

In another game the rope was used in the study, but not by Col. Mustard.

During one game the gun was used in the conservatory, whilst in another game Prof. Plum was not to be found in the library.

Col. Mustard was never in the conservatory and Miss Peacock never used the rope.

The lead piping may or may not have been used in the kitchen.

Coconuts, Castaways And The Monkey
Ten people land on a deserted island. There they find lots of coconuts and a monkey. During their first day they gather coconuts and put them all in a community pile. After working all day they decide to sleep and divide them into ten equal piles the next morning.

That night one castaway wakes up hungry and decides to take his share early. After dividing up the coconuts he finds he is one coconut short of ten equal piles. He also notices the monkey holding one more coconut. So he tries to take the monkey's coconut to have a total evenly divisible by 10. However when he tries to take it the monkey conks him on the head with it and kills him.

Later another castaway wakes up hungry and decides to take his share early. On the way to the coconuts he finds the body of the first castaway, which pleases him because he will now be entitled to 1/9 of the total pile. After dividing them up into nine piles he is again one coconut short and tries to take the monkey's slightly bloodied coconut. The monkey conks the second man on the head and kills him.

One by one each of the remaining castaways goes through the same process, until the 10th person to wake up gets the entire pile for himself.

What is the smallest number of possible coconuts in the pile, not counting the monkeys?

take the egg out when that finishes again

That's what I thought earlier, but there's the problem of when to start heating the water. Obviously, it must be boiling when the 7 minute timer ends, so can you bring tap water (enough to boil an egg) to the boil in only 7 minutes?
