It wouldn't land in the same place, due to wind and the spin of the earth

The riddle said the ball had to come back to you, not land in the same place. It'd take a hell of a gust to blow it so far you couldn't catch it!

You are in a room. There are two doors marked A and B. One of these doors leads to freedom, the other leads to certain death.

There are two other men in the room. They both know which door is which. One of them always lies when asked a question, the other always tells the truth when asked a question. You don't know which one lies nor which one tells the truth.

You can ask one question to one of the men, then you must decide which door to leave by

Ask either guard "If I want freedom, which door will he say say I should go through."

What am I
Bound by peers to hinder my crimes
For fear I'll defile your eyes
Source of strength in previous times
I once laid a path to the skies
Fire, gold, or night of new moon
Bring these or the earth or the snow
Warm the thinkers blessed by my boon
And gashed, shall I ever regrow

Hair?

"If i asked the other guy the door to death, where would he point?"

If he's the guy who tells the truth?
It'll be the same whichever guard you ask:
The guard that lies will point you to the wrong door and the truthful guard will tell you that this is the door he would indicate. The truthful guard would tell you the right door, but the lying guard will tell you that his answer would have been the opposite. Either way the answer you receive indicates the wrong door.

.......... ... Mythical Castle
A band of dwarves, each dons a helm
I've hewn but needn't deliver
They guard a bridge within this realm
O'er neither a chasm nor river
Then tower soars to heaven's height
A balcony flanking each side
With frail rope from aincient fight
Held fast, may it ever keep tied

When did you realise you'd gone wrong?
Takes a brave person to admit. they got it wrong.

When i read the "No repetition" statement,i blindly crossed out everything with 6,leaving only 49 and 81..............and i didn't check the "odd number" thing:banghead::blush:
