Harvey Wallbanger, by a head.

As this is the 'really true' thread I must protest - Harvey came third.

That depends which race you are talking about. It raced several times, sometimes winning, sometimes not.

This one, it won, against two horses

Tom Cruise divorced all three of his ex wives when they were 33 years old. Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Each was 11 years years younger than the last.

On March 4, 1989, a racing buffalo named Harvey Wallbanger made his debut at Golden Gate Fields in California, marking the start of his unusual and impressive career. The buffalo, owned, trained, and ridden by T.C. Thorstenson, was pitted against a quarter horse named Two Eyed Burt, who was ridden by "Cowboy" Jack Kaenel, in a thrilling 110-yard sprint down the stretch.

A quarter horse has only one leg presumably??

The American Quarter Horse, or Quarter Horse, is an American breed of horse that excels at sprinting short distances. Its name is derived from its ability to outrun other horse breeds in races of 1⁄4 mi or less; some have been clocked at speeds up to 44 mph. The development of the Quarter Horse traces to the 1600s.

The word “facetious” is one of only two words in the English language that has every vowel of the alphabet in it, in the order they appear in the alphabet, A,E,I,O,U. Another word is “facetiously” and it has the optional “y”

Edit: There are only LOTS of words in the English language that has every vowel of the alphabet in it, in the order they appear... 😂

There are a few dozen words in English that feature the 5 vowels in order, albeit most are pretty obscure.

The one other that's commonly-cited is abstemious.

Actually 35 such words according to this https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:English_words_that_use_all_vowels_in_alphabetical_order. THat does include 5 which are just adding a 'y' to the end of another, so arguably 30 distinct words.

Only 4 of which I can recall actually having seen used - the two already mentioned plus anterior and adventious
