As long as I breathe, I attack.
Rechargeable electric for me i am afraid, no matter what blades/ soap/ creme etc i have tried and how careful i am i find that razors give me a rash.

Go on, tilt your head!
I shave with a blunt Mach 3 Fusion. I switched to electric but the shaver I bought takes longer than a wet shave. This thread reminds me I really should buy some new blades, I've been reusing the same 10/15 blades for about 8 years lol

Too much time on your hands, a small willy, and the need to tell everyone how s*** advances in technology are.

We haven't all got too much time on our hands!

I'm cursed with bad facial hair genes . If I don't shave my face, the sides end up looking mangy (i.e. thick here, bald there). If I leave the moustache (the only bit that grows evenly and thickly), I end up looking like a 70s porn star (without the good looks).

'member that sailor on the Players packet? This is what is known as a 'full set' and OUAT sailors could claim an allowance for the upkeep. I grow a full set, not because I am looking for an allowance but because it is easiest. That little dribble of hair so fashionable today irritates me.
As for the legs, my sister in law suggested I use a machine that pulls the hair out from the roots rather than a razor which I did - I think she hates me. Don't try this... or non masochists don't try this. I have sent her gift token for a Brazilian for her birthday.

You have your choice, other people have theirs. Does it really bother you that much?

My own shaving choice is an Edwin Jagger DE89, Feather blades, badger brush and Mitchell's Old Wool Fat soap. The total running cost is considerably less than a cartridge system and the results are far better.

There is also the added advantage of fewer things going in the bin - no plastic parts or aerosol cans so the only problem is the safe disposal of the razor blade itself.
