I actually have a food chopper/blender bought last February that's still in its box, on my stairs. Machines like that save time on food chopping, but make work when you have to wash them after.

I doubt you could acheive batons in a contraption I use a sharp knife

What us the longest straight section of the UK motorway next work? Parts of the M5 are pretty straight.

Do carrier pigeons make money for thier owners particularly the best ones? If so how much?

How likely am I to get water poisoning having twice drunk from a Devon stream 48h ago? Well a bit deli belly?!

Do beans make you fart what's the science?

Why does it rain heavily just before stopping?
"Beans are rich in soluble fiber. This type of fiber is water soluble and turns into a kind of gel in your gut.

We can’t digest these compounds, but our gut bacteria love them.

As your gut bugs start to ferment the soluble fiber, they produce gasses. These build up and eventually work their way through your gut and exit via your butt."

"A section of the A15 (between Scampton and the M180) provides the longest stretch of straight road in the UK"

Since when did it become acceptable to say 'sh*t' on Radio 4? I hear it about 2 or 3 times a week these days.

I remember the first time I heard 'fart' on tv. It was on a children's program , when my daughter was at nursery, so it must be early 2000's. I was shocked and thought this is the beginning of the end of morality. I haven't watched my television in my home for nearly 4 years. I bet know they come out with a lot worse now.

You might remember that when we were kids the word fart was in the dictionary.
Definition was "a slight explosion between the legs".
The fact I recall that 65 years later must say something about my mind 🙂
