I've just ordered a quite expensive item off fleabay and found I've given a wrong phone number, after pressing confirm and pay and not getting a 'thanks for your order' text message. Could the one who has the number I gave somehow direct the item to his/her address?

Not unless they can log into your account

Anyhoo, just go online on a computer, log into your ebay account, locate the order and message the seller your new details

It's only a small item, most likely about 6x4 inch in its bubble wrap packaging that doesn't need signing for, so I'm hoping the deliverer just posts it through the letterbox. If he/she can't post it I'm sure they'll leave details to rearrange delivery, then I can contact them. :okay: I do wonder though, if that number I gave still exists, will the receiver of the 'thanks for your purchase' text message wonder why I gave their number and if the fleabay text doesn't say what 'their purchase' is, will they wonder what it is. ;)

To be honest, I've never got confirmations on my phone. I've always got them via eBay, either via their site or their app - which (for your own protection) should be the only channel you should use, when communicating with a buyer/seller.

When on long rides only my right hand ever goes numb, left's fine never a complaint. Anyone know why it'd effect one hand more than the other?

Don't know, but on my hybrid, it was the other way around for me, my right hand used to start going numb after about anhour to an hour and a half.
On my road bike, I haven't yet managed to ride it long enough to have an issue (longest ride 4 and a quarter hours).

Why do Facebook allow such blatant scams, all they need to some photo recognition software.

Likely weight distribution and how often you move your hand about. No one is perfectly symmetrical and there will always be a slight imbalance between sides. Often it’s the left and people shift more with the right and thus move their hand around reducing any localised pressure.
