I was gobsmacked in Cornwall on a recent trip. Somewhere betwixt Goonhilly and the Lizzard.

As I waited to turn right out of minor road (nr the centre line), a driver turned into my road entirely on the wrong side i.e. on my left, cutting the corner on the racing line!

Driving something like an opn-top Merc, big grin on his face.

He gave me plenty of room, wasn't going crazy fast, and sight lines were good, so I didn't feel in any danger: but I was still astonished!

You may not have felt in any danger, but that was totally irresponsible, , as much as drivers like to think so none of us can read minds, you were most certainly a very vulnerable road user.
The drivers actions were utterly unsupportable, he may have got away with it that time , but the next maybe not, the many seem to think transgressions like that don't matter, they do for someone ,somewhere their lives are being sept up along with the broken glass and dumped in a bin.

It matters for reason, enjoying your drive isn't it!

Has the value of sheep increased dramatically?
Here in Norfolk sheep seem to be in nearly every field, which is in stark contrast to recent years. Our local Farmer has a field full of them, and he hasn't had any for about 10 years. On a 32 mile ride earlier today I saw 1 deer, 2 buzzards, a kite and I don't know how many sheep - i didn't dare count them in case I 'fell asleep at the bars' . Darned cold Northerly today, I wish i'd worn full gloves.

I have no interest on Sheep , either Shearing or that other Welsh popular pastime......although I do enjoy a lamb cutlet or 2 on the plate ,along with a serving of mint sauce, I would try Mutton too ,but that's not freely available.
That's are far as my interests in Sheep go, apart from Shaun the sheep on the telly!

Do you know what mmr stands for? If I Google it I get 'mumps, measles, rubella' vaccine.

That doesn't sound good

Ah: Facebook is just tracking who has to be redirected from the non-www version of their URL. The solution is to delete the "facebook.com" item from your autocomplete (with the item highlighted, shift + delete for Win / shift + fn + delete for Mac) and type www.facebook.com.

Thanks. I used to use mbasic.facebook.com because it was quicker. If I try and use it with my updated browser I get www.facebook.com with the parameters added. I'll just go direct to the www version.

The real question is, what became of the 1 dentist who didn't recommend a particular brand?

It's just marketing at the end of the day. Same with razors and other "hygiene" products really, finding something which differentiates you from your competitors is key and all about brand loyalty.

I have been a fan of Echo and the Bunnymen for many a year. Tonight following a conversation with a friend I know realise the lead singer Ian McCulloch has the the same surname as my great granny. Do you think we might be related.
Or do I need to start a thread things so obvious how did you miss them.
